540 (10 char)

We have a class size of 862.
My school still keeps an excellent reputation.

Hmm mine's 13
But oh well, its rigourous, the IB is obligatory.

250 is small... my class size is 1238

Yeah that seems pretty small. I am in a tiny school district and we have just over 200 people in my class. This is the largest class my high school has ever had. But 1 out of anything looks good. Unless it is like 1 out of 2. And I'm not kidding because I know someone who's class was that size. He failed two classes and was still valedictorian.

My graduating class is 97 students.

^ really similar; 87.
And I get to be a part of a class of 84 or 90 students in college! lol.

To the OP, the class size of 250 is actually on the slightly-smaller end. Being valedictorian of any size class is pretty good. It does depend on the caliber of the school.. but more importantly in any college admissions decision is your own achievements in and out that school, regardless of the number of people at your school.

We only have 34 :)

an average class is about 300.

big one would be about 500.

We have 750+

We have 740, (used to be 825)

If I'm ranked in the top 5 how does that look in relation to valedictorians of smaller schools?

I was in a class of ~ 300 and would have thought that was somewhat above average. I think before getting into the details of the individual school offerings that colleges would view 1/100 at one school equal to 2/200 at another equal to 3/300 at a third, etc.
