is a computer science major right for me?

I’m not good at math but I really like coding. Are there any computer science type majors out there that are suited for me? Or should I just go to my fallback plan of dietetics?

While math is a core part of CS, it’s often in a way that makes more sense to some people than pure math. Don’t forget about math entirely, and you can work to improve your math as much as possible (while still fun), but a lot of good programmers are out there who aren’t super good at pure math. I would pursue CS.

Many CS degrees outside of engineering colleges only require Calc I and some sort of discrete math class (logic and proofs, etc), so CS is definitely doable for someone who isn’t great at math.
