Is a double major worth the effort?

<p>As of right now I'm planning on a Government/PoliSci degree, but I also have a strong interest in some other areas. My question is this: is a double major worth the effort if it may bring down my gpa? Or is it better to stick with one major and make a high gpa in that?</p>
