I have a feeling that I didn't do well on the ACT I just took. I have a 85 avg and most the colleges I'm applying to want an 88-91, so I was gunna make up for that with high SAT/ACT scores. I have around an 1150 on the SAT (cr+math) and so I was looking to get 28-30 on the ACT the colleges I'll be applying I (Oneonta and Albany) have deadlines of 4/1 and 3/1 so I think it would be wise to take the ACT again and aim for a better score. But what do you guys think? Does it look bad on applications? Is February too late to apply to these colleges?

Well… you should have already applied for colleges during November, etc… so yeah. You need to report your scores by then

So I shouldn’t take it again?

Should I just apply with my present score and say I’m taking it again in Feb?

I’d wait for your scores to come before you rush to register for another test.
