Is a minor in English worth it? (major+2 minors)

I'm going to be majoring in Computer Science, and minoring in East Asian studies already.
My goal is to be a software engineer.

Should I add an English minor too? I only need to add three courses to get it since I already plan to take some other classes from that department to fulfill liberal ed. requirements.
The three extra classes I would need to take would be Shakespeare, Text Analysis, and Phoenetics
My school charges a flat course fee, so it wouldn't have any financial difference

Does it have any signifigance to employers to get an English minor? Or do you think the English and East Asian studies work together in a way? Or should I skip taking those and just focus on my C.Sci classes?

Tell me the real deal.

If your goal is to become a Software Engineer, English, as a minor, might not directly aid you in achieving your goal. With that said, if English is of interest to you, then having more education can’t hurt you. In the future, it may be the thing that makes you stand out from another applicant who is also applying to the same job.
