<p>There a place on the Common App, and I expect most school-specific apps too, to list your ECs. If you feel that just listing them on the application doesn't convey well the depth of your involvement, then many students opt to also submit a more fleshed-out resume of their activities outside of academics. It's up to you. If you feel the app itself is sufficient to demonstate them, then a activity resume is not necessary.</p>
<p>For the most part look at what the college(s) want and give them that. It is tempting to say "but they need more information than this." However, it can work to your disadvantage, too much becomes burdensome particularly if it the college feels they understand the app without it. The advice to us was give them what they want not more, it worked for us.</p>
