Would it be easier to gain admission into Brown if someone applied for computer science engineering?

Given the following stats etc…would you say that admission is likely?:

The person takes computer science at his school gets a 5 on the AP computer science tests and is interested in mathematics (mathematics by the way is related to computer science) etc. and won a small state-wide award in java programming

top 3%
95/100 gpa
toughest courseload possible
5’s on all AP’s
2250+ SAT
750~ on SAT IIs
Decent EC’s with board positions etc…
mediocre awards
nice recs and essays

Could be......if you turn them on in all the right ways.

"turn them on in all the right ways"?

what's that supposed to mean?

If you didn't screw up on your application, you'll be fine.

It means if you wrote good essays, presented yourself as an interesting and intriguing person, then there should be no reason for them not to accept you.

alright...thanks, another question: just because i said i would major in computer science etc.. doesn't mean i have to right?...i can still major in biochem and do a double major too right?

I think you declare a concentration at the end of your sophmore year.....as I'm sure you know, brown has an open curriculum, so by then I suppose it's up to you.

any other opinions?
