Is admission possible for me?

Sorry, I hate to annoy you guys, but I'd just like you opinions about my credentials. I really want to get into Rice, so I'm kind of stressed about my odds of getting in! I'm a high school junior, average public high school. Please tell me what to improve on, and if there's anything I can do in my remaining time in high school to improve my chances. Thanks!

I'm also pretty excellent at writing essays, so I hope my application ones will be good.

My teachers like me, and I will probably have decent recs.

Good luck on your SAT, this weekend. I think your work at the non-profit bicycle repair shop should be highlighted with lots of detail in an essay. You sound like a strong candidate to me. Let Admissions know clearly why you want to go to Rice and what you can add to the campus. Good luck to you!
