is admission to cornell extremely dependent on sat score?

It just means you have legacy from two different sources. It could be anything--both parents, a grandparent and a parent, a sibling and a grandparent--any two relatives that graduated from Cornell.

sibling isn't considered legacy really. It's a connection, but legacy is "linearly hereditary." Single Legacy is One Parent/Grandparent. Double triple quadruple, quintuple would be 2 3 4 or 5 graduates recently in a direct line above you on your family tree.

Oh, thanks for the information. Is there a special name for siblings?

um...a connection? (no, not to my knowledge)

thanx thatbiggbadwolfy and sparticus!

for hotel major, what if i have hotel internship experiences and many related extra curricular but 1200 sat 1 score? (new SAT.. -_-) im an immigrant by the way. 6 yrs.

SAT is really low. Either study you buttoff or ask if somehow you can take TOEFL

You should definitely take the TOEFL, and I would recommend a Math SAT II (maybe even both I and IIc). I know it's tough to understand the SAT I (especially the newer one). Good luck! (Are you Korean by any chance?)

yes im korean.
