I'm trying to decide between Aerospace Engineering vs. Electric. Although Aerospace engineering sounds more appealing at the moment, I'm not quite sure what kind of field I might pursue after undergrad.

Does a degree from a top Aerospace Engineering school, limit me much more than Electric or Computer? What if I want to pursue an MBA after few years of experience?

Aerospace Engineering degrees from any school aren’t very marketable outside of the aerospace industry and a few very select other industries. Things like electrical, computer, mechanical and civil engineering are all more marketable across a broader range of fields. It all just depends on what you want to do.

Most of the engineers I know in aerospace are mechanical or electrical engineers. You can always concentrate on aerospace if you still love it without majoring in it. And there is grad school too.

I agree that with the other in that Aerospace is more limiting than Electrical. As for getting your MBA, I don’t think your engineering discipline it makes much of a difference. The key to the MBA (and I am thinking big time MBA like Wharton) is having a strong work experience and a well-thought-out rationale for pursuing the MBA. High GMATs are helpful too.
