Is an 1800 on the SAT a good score, and what kind of colleges can I get in with it?

Critical Reading - 630

Math- 530 (Math is not my strong point)

Writing - 640
- Multiple choice - 66 out of 80
- Essay - 8 out of 12

And also I got a 26 on my second attempt on the ACT.

I also have a 3.7 unweighted GPA, have been in all honors classes in freshman and sophomore year (all classes are honors in my school) and this year am in two AP classes.

I'm looking to get into a fairly competitive school like the Univ. of Michigan, Ohio State, or Rutgers, and I'm looking into pre-med.

I'm in the National Honor Society, and joined Key Club this year, during my Junior Year.. I'm also doing Youth Legislature this year and have played tennis during my freshman and sophomore year. (and I'm doing a partial season in tennis this year)

Unfortunately I do not have very many community service hours at all. Max, about 30.

What other kinds of colleges can I get into other than the ones I mentioned, and can I get into those?

Around Top 50, I guess. I personally think OSU and Rutgers you’ve got good chances.

Math isn’t quite enough. Give it another try, and I think you have enough time for those, including EC things. If you are class of 2017… are you?
