I recently took the ACT a month ago. I received a composite score of 25. I'm currently a junior and this was my first time taking the test. I didn't do any practice tests nor study. I purchased "The Real Act Prep Guide" and hopefully will find other resources to help me. My weakest score was in math, which was due to the fact I am taking trig and pre-cal this year so I had no knowledge of it. Is it possible for me to achieve a composite score of 30 by graduation? Also if you have any good resources for learning these maths, please share. Thanks!

My younger son took the ACT for the first time without studying and got a 27. After studying during the summer and using a tuor, he took it again and received a 31 score. His science score went from a 28 to a 35, English went from a 27 to 31, Math went from a 27 to a 29 and Reading went from a 25 to a 29. Yes it is possible if you study… He used his brothers Revolution Prep books and sample tests to get ready for the test.
