Is an Econ Major to broad and less favorable when prepping for graduate school then other majors?

Such as Business administration, Finance, and so on.

I’ve heard many arguments about this that goes both ways. Wondering if any one can chime in and give their own input.
I will soon be attending UConn or SU

Actually, top business schools like non-business majors better. Look at Stanford’s stats for example: https://www.gsb.stanford.edu/programs/mba/admission/evaluation-criteria/class-profile
If by “graduate school” you mean a PHD in Economics then you’d be better served by Economics with a lot of math, or even a straight Math Major.
(SU = Syracuse? There are lots of “SU’s” in the country!)

Thanks for the link!
Sorry about that and yes Syracuse.
