IS and OOS - Which is it?

<p>Hi, this year I'll be applying to UCLA and UC Berkeley but I was just told the other day that my family will be moving to California when I finish senior year at my high school, meaning we will be official residents in 2011 before I start my college year.</p>

<p>So I'm a little confused if the colleges in CA will see me as an OOS or IS applicant, and what tuition I would be paying. It'd really help me if they considered me IS because I've taken the SAT 3 times and only managed a 2000 =/</p>

<p>The only problem is they will see that I attended middle and high school in another state.</p>

<p>So, will the admissions board pit me with IS or OOS applicants?

<p>You’ll be considered OOS for the current application season, but I think you’ll pay IS tuition for future years.</p>
