Hi, is anyone applying for Architecture from India?

I’m pretty sure you realize that most of the undergrad Architecture programs in the US are BS in architecture, as opposed to B.Arch which is a professional degree. You cannot be licensed with just a BS in Arch in most states and you’ll have to complete an M.Arch (after BS) to be licensed.

And subsequently if you want a job in the US if the field, it might be pretty hard to get a visa sponsorship as an Architect.

BrutallyHonest- Of course I know that. I have done quiet a bit of research. I don’t want a job in the US. I hope to come back and do something in my country :)

Would an architecture degree from the US apply towards (country specific) requirements? Or would you have to take additional certification in India?

Someone I know got into the JJ school of Arch (Mumbai) and she landed a great job (this was about 10 years back). Is it hard to get in nowadays?
