If so can you post ur stats and the day u applied.
And for the people that know can u chance us please :)

Here are my stats
3.36 UW
4.08 W
1280/1910 SAT (700 M, 580 CR, 630 W)
In-State
Just one AP course this year
Leadership position in Key Club
Volunteered about 70 hrs at a pharm
Worked on a couple of political campaigns

Applied in Early Nov (on the 3rd I believe) but realized I put my UW GPA instead of W.
Emailed them and changed it on Nov 25th
^That could've been why....?^^^

My daughter submitted her app to CAS on October 21 and is still in process. Her stats are:

3.3 W (our high school only does weighted)
620 CR, 520 M, 610 W
We know her math is low. But she applied as a poli sci major so we were hoping this wouldn’t hurt her too much.
In-state
One AP this year, 5 honors over soph/jr/sr year
school does not rank

She called admissions on Monday; they told her they have everything and she just has to wait it out.
She has great teacher recs, but Rutgers doesn’t look at those. She also has a great essay and ECs, but an admissions officer told us on our visit that they don’t look at that much either. They play strictly a numbers game. She is also a double legacy at Rutgers–but again, they don’t look at that.

This entire process is very frustrating. Kids in school are gently teasing her because she hasn’t heard back yet. I do believe she will ultimately be accepted. But it has made her, and me, really think hard about whether this is where she should go if they ultimately accept her. Fortunately, she already has 2 acceptances to 2 other large state universities in other states.

i just got my acceptance the 23rd. although my gpa is a little higher, we have the exact same two SAT and you have a higher three part and ACT than i did. Hope that helps

No. The web site specifically says that letters of recommendation are not used for admissions consideration, so I figured there was no point. Meanwhile, she received 2 other acceptances this week (so she now has 4 total) so it’s not like she’s not getting in anywhere.

Yea I still am in process and I’m kinda worried now
GPA 4.2 weighted

Senior classes
3 AP classes- Chem,Physics, and Psychology
Honors- Calc
all A’s

Sats- 610 Math/ 460 CR/ and 450 W… yea i know that my English Sats scores r low but i’m hoping to make up for this with my GPA and the difficulty of my classes I’m in the top 20% in my class rank

My S applied 10/31 and still no answer. Says all info received as of 12/2 and everything was in on 10/31? His stats are:

ACT - 30 (did not submit SAT)
3 AP’s this yr and honors pre-calc, 2 honors last yr
GPA 3.6

In our HS (NJ) according to Naviance 74 have applied, and 12 admitted so far, 1 enrolled. Called guidance counselor becuase were are a little nervous that he has not heard yet (education major) and he said not to worry…but I am!

i think all of you have a great chance of getting expected i was accepted instate about a month ago. My stats were fairly similar and lower then some but my school usually has like 300 kids accepted each year and i dont think that major really effects it because i applied undecided. Goodluck to you all

Not sure exactly, since it’s not my kid. But my D thinks they were GPA around 3.2, all CP courses (ie, no honors/AP), all SAT components in the 500’s.

My guess is that my D is on the cusp, and they want to get through as many apps as possible before making a final decision, so at this point I don’t expect to hear back until just before the Jan. 31 deadline.
