My son son sent in his app back in mid-Nov, and all other items are noted as received on the status page. The status still says it's "under review".

I think their policy may be to make sure you’ve had plenty of time to receive the letter before they change the status online. My son got his yesterday, and now it’s been updated online, but it still hadn’t yesterday. Basically, the status page won’t tell you anything you don’t already know unless the letter gets lost in the mail, if our experience is typical.

Yep, still waiting. I applied in December, and people I know who applied in January have all ready found out. Their website says decisions are mailed “through April.”

Doesn’t give us much time.

my D and a friend were both deferred EA- they are both still waiting.

Applied in Jan…still waiting. :-/

from what I gather, decisions are coming in a lot faster now…in waves.

My son applied RD in December. He received his acceptance in the mail yesterday even though online it still states his application is under consideration.

We are still waiting too. Application was sent the begining of Dec. Hopefully we will all hear something soon. The waiting is driving me crazy!

I haven’t heard either and I was deferred early action.

This is killingggg me.

I’m still waiting too. I haven’t heard back from either school in Mass. I applied to, which is by far where I want to be. I heard back from the schools in NY very quickly. I call my parents everyday asking if anything has come in the mail.

I am a transfer though, so might be hearing back later than others… :S

I applied in the beginning of December and emailed the admissions office a few days ago to see when i would hear back from them. They told me that it is still under review and I will hear back by the middle of April.

i’m still waiting, but I applied VERY late.

I hope everyone is accepeted.

Still waiting, but i’m a transfer…

My mom said she got a letter today saying they reviewed all my stuff, but want a letter from my dean about my disciplinary incident…

I don’t know if it means I’m in if I’m in good standing (which I am), or if they just want a letter for the heck of it… :|

S0ad, they wouldn’t ask if they weren’t interested, in both the incident and you.

FYI for anyone still waiting on an answer. I called the admissions office this morning and the woman I spoke with said they are still sending out decision letters. She said they will be doing it through April. She also said there isn’t a specific order in which they send them out. Good Luck to all those who are still waiting!

Hi everyone,
Just to ease some concerns and thoughts, I know people who have already received their rejections, so don’t go thinking that they are doing the acceptances first and then the rejections. You have nothing to worry about. I know waiting is hard, but don’t read into it until you have to! :)

Also, a family friend applied for transfer admission for the Spring a month after the due date and she was one of the first to hear - so it is very very random!

Good luck to all!

Through April is kind of rough…since we have to let everyone know by May 1st. Hopefully they stick to mid-April. They know this too, so I’m sure they aren’t trying to make it so long.

Nothing here still! My son’s app was complete by early Dec. He has already been accepted to similar caliber schools (UConn, UDel and Syracuse). He may have considered UMass if he was accepted with time to check it out (never did visit), but at this point he’s written it off and has made his decision. Now it’s just a matter of curiosity.
