Is anybody's app still "In Process"?

My friend who applied to Georgia Tech as a freshman applicant still has an "In Process" status for his application which he submitted before October 31st. On another interesting note, they have requested that he send in his high school transcript which neither I nor another friend who applied were required to do. This transcript was send and received well after the 31st. Is anybody else's application (who applied before the 31st) still "In Process"?

Thank you.

i applied before oct. 31st and my app continues to read "in process". i also have not receive any notification yet nor was i required to send a transcript.

I also left a somewhat important piece of information out of my original post. He, like me, had taken college classes while in high school. I sent in a college transcript to them which was received in early October. This information was contained under the heading of "other admissions documents". He submitted a college transcript which was marked as received under the name of "College Transcript 1". Now a new item has appeared which says "College Transcript Final" with no date received. His situation is very curious, as I was not required to send a second college transcript or a high school transcript whereas he was. We both applied as incoming freshman but are experiences have been wildly different. Can anybody shed some light on why this is so?

Yes, I applied before the 31st and mine also still says in process.

Sigh....

I applied the 28th of October and am still in process. No college transcript though.

Probably need to email them about the transcripts. They requested it from me, so I emailed them to verify that I applied before the deadline, and they took off the transcript request after i emailed them.

Here's a little something to clear things up! I was wondering about the "In Process" on my application status page too.

"In Process" as a status on the "Check Application Status" page means "Complete" and ready for a decision. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused and we will make the necessary improvements in our wording next year."

This was posted on the Georgia Tech admissions message board by an admissions counselor. :)

KChristine, I officially love you.

Too bad I'm still in process, hopefully decision will come soon
