Is anyone else planning on applying to Fairfield this year? Has anyone visited campus yet? thoughts?

We visited last weekend and had a very informative and positive experience. My DD loved it so much that it’s her top pick.
The campus is lovely and relatively modern. Everything was very well kept. The dorms were quite nice and very clean (in contrast to where older DD goes to school- her dorms and bathrooms as a sophomore were ancient and needed a total overhaul).
The tour guides and interviewer were very friendly and took plenty of extra time to answer additional questions. My DD is not a math whiz, yet calculus is a required class at Fairfield. One of the tour guides was in the same ‘math’ boat and he explained how the extra attention, math lab, and prof. availability has him understanding calculus and getting a B+ so far. Additionally, he was Jewish and explained how comfortable he felt at Fairfield despite it being a Jesuit school.
She wants to return and spend a day there.
Three other pluses: the beach is only 5 minutes away; the town had a nice feel to it with lots of nice shops and eateries; NYC is a quick train ride away.
If my DD LOVES it despite the calculus requirement, that speaks volumes for the school!

Hey njnmtech & hipsterforlife,
I have applied ED, although i’m taking my interview Jaunary 28th, could you give me a heads up on the sorts of questions admissions amy ask? Thanks! & Hipsterforlife, the school is just beyond perfect. Especially the campus & location (I will be a business major) & tam ford is only about 15 minutes away by car. Awesome!

My son applied EA to the Business school. He really likes Fairfield. Hoping decisions come out sooner than later!!

My daughter is a graduating Senior Nursing major at Fairfield from NH. No regrets! Fantastic experience in every way on and off campus! Good luck everyone!
