Is anyone coming in from the Philadelphia International Airport? I looked online to see the directions to get to Princeton by train but it was complicated. If anyone knows like the details and the cost of taking the train, please tell me. or better yet, write me a note in one of the bathrooms in the train station on how to get to Princeton. wouldn't that be kewl? ~ :D BFF

Take SEPTA R1 from the airport to 30th Street.
Transfer to SEPTA R7 to Trenton.
Take NJTransit to Princeton Junction.
Take the Dinky from there to Princeton.

I'm pretty sure the cost is under $10, but it's been a while. The first leg, from the airport, is free -- I think.

That works. Or you could take Amtrak from 30th Street Station to Princeton and avoid the NJ transit transfer. It would probably cost a little more that way but Amtrak is much faster than Septa and NJ Transit.

As far as I remember, SEPTA/NJT was less than $20 altogether (I seem to remember $3 and $15, but those might have been return tickets), while Amtrak was around $50.

Wow... that's still alot. 20 dollars for rail? 50 dollars? i thought tickets were like a dollar twenty-five.

use the following two links to plan your trip from PHI to Princeton. As litho has mentioned from airport take INBOUND R1 to 30th st station, tranfer to OUTBOUND R7 to Trenton, take NJ transit - NE corridor line to Princeton Junction and then take Dinky to Princeton. I think the total fare would be around $15.

$1.25? Maybe for the local subways and buses.

Speaking of which, $1.25 is the bus fare from the Dinky station to the nearest mall. I've done it before -- it's an easy trip.

Oooh what is the nearest mall?

<--- shopaholic

hahaha, i think i heard something about a mall of america. but i dont remember. :(

the nearest mall is quakerbridge mall- which is about average. It has a macy's i think. well technically the nearest mall is marketfair, but that just has movie theaters (you can gget there by bus as well) you can also use the bus to get to wegmans/target/walmart/home depot

if you're looking for better shopping, the town of princeton beats quakerbridge for most things- and its easier to get to

The mall of america thing is about minnesota lol.
