I've never been the straight-A student in high school. I always maintain low-mid 3.0 gpa and everything was so...average. Now, it's like the total opposite. I just like the environment much better. The freedom, the classes, the times, the philosophy of the school...it just works better for me. Anyone else experiencing a similar situation?

i graduated high school with a 2.9 gpa. i finished my degree in math in 3 years with a 3.5 gpa.

i think being away from my parents helped a lot. they would never let me study in high school and were always bothering me, so i would get really frustrated and never do my homework and stuff.

I’m doing much better in college too.

I used to think I worked hard in high school. Not anymore! :)

Yes.

Yep.

College just suits me better. I’m someone who learns better from teaching myself and reading a textbook, so having to spend a lot less time in the classroom means that I can use my time much more effectively… and college is just easier than the high school I went to.

I believe I am doing worse in college because I attend class. I do learn better when reading out of a textbook and maybe I should start doing that instead of attending lecture. :o

I feel the same. I’m not really doing any better or worse.
Except this paper I’m writing right now could be better, but at this point I don’t care.
It’s due tomorrow. Whatever. I just want to get it DONE!

My procrastination habits haven’t changed much …
