<p>My daughter texted me from school saying her friend did not hear anything today. Our mail still hasn’t come…anxiety mounting!!!</p>

<p>I’m a first gen, and my parents have done all they could to try and help me succeed, so it’s made them so happy that I got in. </p>
<p>There really couldn’t be a better school for me.</p>
<p>A quaint town, an affordable price, an intense academic environment, not too far from home, and tons of opportunities.</p>
<p>The perfect place for a boonies-girl like me. =P</p>
<p>(Actually, I only danced down part of my driveway. Boonies = long driveways. My Blazer was parked about twenty feet from the mailbox. I walked down there all slow and jittery and then ran back dancing. I couldn’t even drive straight down my driveway. My parking job was awful! xDDD)</p>

<p>@keil- Well, I get out of school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 1:25. (I have a DE class until 3:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.)</p>
<p>I was so anxious all through lunch (I leave right after lunch) that I could barely eat anything. xD</p>
<p>I’m actually hungry now. xD</p>
<p>I’m going to see if my parents will take me out for my favorite pizza tonight. =)</p>
<p>(Yeah, I was actually physically ill this morning and I considered leaving school after first period, but my stomach finally settled down, so I stayed.)</p>

<p>It didn’t come today. Both of my friends who go to my school got their letters yesterday. One of them lives in my NEIGHBORHOOD. How could it not even come today? We just got a new mailman and I’m thinking he may have screwed it up. But then of course William and Mary refuses to tell you on the phone so this really sucks. </p>
<p>Congrats Rixs! Really happy for you. Hopefully I can join you if I ever get this mail!</p>

<p>@keil- Yeah, I called them right after I read through all the stuff. </p>
<p>It didn’t take very long. It was only three things:</p>
<ul>
<li>the letter </li>
<li>the attendance and deposit form</li>
<li>the early finaid prediction form</li>
</ul>
<p>…in a big red folder.</p>
<p>My dad was ecstatic. xD</p>
<p>novajunge- that is really weird- maybe you can call your post office? did the two in your neighborhood get in or get deferred? because maybe the big letter does take longer!</p>
<p>They got deferred, and I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking that might cause it to take an extra day, but it seems strange for it to take two more. Thanks for the optimism! I really am hoping that it was something weird and I get it tomorrow. It’s just really anticlimatic to think it would come Thursday or Friday at the latest and it doesn’t even come then haha.</p>

<p>I live in NOVA and a bunch of people at my school got deferrals yesterday. There was nothing in today’s mail…I broke down crying because I just need to KNOW! WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG?</p>
