This is for transfer students. I'm seriously dying. this wait is seriously killing me! Is there anything I can do until I know for sure when? Anything that helped anyone get through this long, harsh wait! It's simply inhumane!

You're not dead yet =/

I suppose the high liklyhood of my rejection letter is going to be the real killer, eh? But as I said, I'm dying right now lol. GWU is my dream school and this wait is such uneeded stress!

Still waiting to hear too for transfer. GWU is the last and so much later than everyone else. Hope you got in somewhere else to take the pressure off.

I got into AU's SIS program but my uncle doesn't like the school; I have to go by what he says because he's paying for it. He LOVES GWU and so do I, that's not biased by the fact that he likes it, I just think it's a great school that's in the shadow of G-town, which is also good.

I'm having another panic attack...2 am

you know. you can give them a call. or write a essay saying how much it means to you for you to get into gwu. you know the admins are people. they have a heart. they'll hear you out and if its good. they'll let you in. if its good.
also i know a kid who got rejected from USC. didnt have too good grades. prob the reason why, but he called them begged them. and then wrote a letter and it was good. basically telling them "ill die if i dont go there" and got accepted.
but he had to make a pack with them saying that he will get 3.5 senior year and spend the summer there doing summer school. good luck

I have a couple quick questions. I have applied for transfer to GWU and my application status is still listed as "Under Review." Are the decisions going to be available online May 1st, 2008, similar to the online posts of the non-transfer decisions? Also, do you need to apply for financial aid on the online transfer application in order to receive merit based aid?

GW transfer app is still "under review"

dying along with MM-N10

Do you think we get the 'seats' and $ that are left over after others made their - I'm going elsewhere decisions?

That might be an advantage.

Why else would they wait SOOOOOOOOO long?
