Is anyone else REALLY UPSET about getting Bowles?!?

Bowles actually is pretty great. I felt the same way last year when I got placed there. But I must say if I’ll remember anything in particular about my freshmen year, it should be Bowles.

Yeah, I know the units are the most fun… and since I am most definitely a cool kid, I need to be there hahha

Due to limited space we are unable to change offers at this time. If you would prefer to live elsewhere in the residence halls, you’ll need to accept this offer by the deadline to reserve your space and then send a message to reshall@berkeley.edu to be on the list for a later transfer of assignment.

so I guess I’ll try that…

Having girls on your floor is not as fun as you think.

But it’s probably easier to meet more people in the units, both males and females instead of just knowing all guys

Same classes. Same dining halls. Same clubs. Same campus. Friends of friends. Parties.

May be a bit less opportunity on your particular floor/dorm than if on a coed door elsewhere, but that is only a small part of overall opportunity to meet and mingle at Cal.

I hear this same thing, every year; and I haven’t met one guy who ended up at Bowles that hated it or even disliked it. Even the most macho dudes were like, it’s like frat living, super chill. Girls are up there all the time, and Bowles guys have these cool traditions – do a search here for “Bowles” and you’ll see all the threads.

Yeah I’ve already researched Bowles as much as I could. Although I’d be OKAY with it, I’d much prefer any of the units or even Clark Kerr

By the way, many people didn’t really want to end up at Clark Kerr either. But they console each other by saying “Hey, at least we didn’t end up in Bowles or Stern” or “Yeah it’s definitely way better than Bowles”

Hahhah **** us.
