So I just thought about it and I am actually debating on whether or not I should go to my friends house for his birthday or stay home and study for my SAT II's...***!! Standardized testing has taken over my life and I hate it. Is anyone else sick of this and wishing that college admission officers didn't decide our fate from some stupid scores?

I don't like taking standardized tests, but I'm glad they exist. Otherwise I don't think the adcoms would take me seriously as I come from an odd background. I do hate studying and waking up at ungodly hours for them.

im sick of testing and im sick of applying to college and im sick of school.

2nd semester..............where art thou???

I'm sick too...but one more measly SAT II and I'll be free. Until the LSAT, I suppose. God I don't even want to think about the LSAT.

im not really sick of testing, but i am sick of studying for them

i'm sick of taking standardized tests too. Good thing I'm done with them for now.

i'm not....because i dont study for standardized tests and i'm not taking SAT II's

yay for slacking!!

I'm totally with Son of Liberty.

2nd Semester I'm going to be a lazy bum and actually enjoy senior year.

same here man.

2nd semester, im just gonna do whatever i want. im actualyl gonna take a class (at a cmmunity college) that i enjoy

Wow, I never thought I would be around people who would talk about college stuff after midnight considering I started this thread at 12:42. You people are awesome!

i'm gonna be up till 2-3 oclock am.

i'm trying to work on my hw but im too addicted to this damn site

dumb question cuz we all are.

no...cause i am done...2250...bio 780..us...770...math 2 790

son of liberty: i totally agree with you. i can't wait to relax a bit after midterms next month. gahhh. i'm sick of testing (luckily i'm done with SATs and SAT IIs), i'm sick of studying, i'm sick of applying to and learning about college, and i'm sick of school. i want to go to hawaii or something and just go wild for at least a week before returning to the real world.

it's probably too late to give you advice now, but go to the birthday party. it's better if you're relaxed before test day, take your mind off of it. just dont get TOO wasted. As for the question, I'm not so much sick of testing as I am of studying for the tests. The tests themselves I kind of enjoy (to a small extent), especially interesting ones like literature, and its always exciting to get your scores back. I guess I'm just a competitive spirit at heart, and a dork.

my fave time is the few weeks after ap tests are over. we dont do anything in most of my classes-just watch movies etc. i have almost all ap's so i dont have to do anything. its gonna rock! that is the best i have as a junior.

I hope the children of the collegeboard staff get below 1000 and never pass a single AP test.

I'm sick of the SAT ( and I'm jsut a junior) , I 've only taken it once but I'm sure that somehow CB is the devil and their tests are here to make our lives hell. That thing is pure evil...its torture. And I'm gonna senp my vacations, 2hrs per day, already made up my mind, studying CR and W to retake in january....this sucks,

sick of the sat, very very sick of the sat.

also sick of college apps and school.

when will it end.

When you go through 3-4 tests per week (and these are 55 minute tests that cover the entire topic) for 35+ weeks in a year, as well as 6 semester one examinations in the space of 1 and a half weeks, and 12 semester two examinations in one month. AND in addition two SAT tests on top of all that, you sort of get passed the sickness attributed to testing and simply treat it as of one lifes normalities, ie... you do your best, but you don't stress over it whatsoever.

Thankfully, it is all over, because I completed my last exam (the December reasoning test) today and I only have the subject tests left in january; but they are almost 2 months away... And since I graduated from school a few days ago, I have no worries at all, apart from how I am going to get to the gym on any given day, or what party or club to hit up on selected nights :D
