Is anyone else tired of

//people from other parts of the word looking down on Americans as idiots, thinking we are all arrogant *****, then turning around and coming to college here because we have the BEST academic institutions?//

Well it’s not like the people at the “BEST academic institutions” is a representative sample of the average American… why would our “idiots” be at the “BEST academic institutions”.

The irony of these conversations are quite amusing.

Well actually, we do have the best post secondary education, but for primary and secondary, we’re not very good. Many other nations are actually ahead of our American education system.
Yes, I am going to be a hypocrite and say that most of the stereotypes of an American are true. Many Americans are not very motivated and thus are lacking intelligence. We are fat, we are lazy. We think we are entitled to anything. Just look at all the teens who get the latest ipod or cellphone. I’ve seen kids who purposely break their phones just to get a new one.
Being an American myself, I am somewhat disappointed in our nation’s citizens. However, we can’t assume that ALL Americans are like this. There are some who are actually intelligent, respected individuals.

<<there are=“” some=“” who=“” actually=“” intelligent,=“” respected=“” individuals.=“”>></there>

You know how many deadheads at state colleges say stuff like, “People at Ivy League aren’t really THAT smart”? Makes you wonder what the definition of “intelligent” is.

i dont care what they think
the end.

^ This man/woman is wise. (I have intended no sarcasm whatsoever.)
