My application is complete, but I have not yet been contacted by any alumni for an interview. I recently attended an info session and the woman in charge of the Boston area alumni association stressed that they would make efforts to get every applicant an interview.

Am I being impatient, or should I contact Princeton? It's already a third through the process and I'm not sure if I slipped through the cracks, because it seems like a lot of people have already had interviews. I know it isn't necessary, but I still want to have one lol.

I haven't been contacted either, and I just by chance my mom ran into an acquaintance whose brother-in-law happens to be an alumnus interviewer for Pton in a neighboring county...so, long story short, he found the e-mail addresses of the alumni interviewers' committee for my area, and told me to contact them. I e-mailed, and they said that I would definitely have an interview, that they would pin down my interviewer, and that if I had not been contacted by Thanksgiving to let them know. So, I'm not really sure whether or not I was supposed to have already been contacted, or the alumni association is just really slow in my area, or what, but I guess use the general Thanksgiving "rule-of-thumb." But, if you want to, you could try to google the alumni association in your area and ask them what's up, or just e-mail the Pton Admission Office directly. It couldn't hurt, especially as the end of the month draws closer.

okay thanks for responding guys I'm glad I'm not the only one worrying about this. I will probably use the Thanksgiving rule of thumb, because I will be really busy this weekend anyhow.

i just got my interview appointment yesterday.

frankly, if you haven't been contacted yet, you should definitely call the admissions office because my interviewer told me that the interview evaluations are due before thanksgiving

pk--I meant that he said to wait until Thanksgiving and, if I had not been contacted to let him know--I think you're right about the Dec. 3 thing.

phillyland, your interviewer was a Princeton Professor?

when you say "german university professor," are you saying he teaches German at an American University? Or he is/used to be the professor at an institution in Germany?
