lol i wanted a doctor, woulda had more to talk about

haha I was in the same situation as pk.
I wanted a doctor, but I got a lawyer instead =P
But he was really cool anyway.

interesting how all these extremely successful people are willing to make time to do interviews. doctors/laywers must be very busy. maybe to help their children later on in the admissions process? but would P'ton see and know if certain alumni parents contributed or not?

probably.
princeton knows everything.
my interviewer mentioned he has a son who's a junior in high school.
and i think he said he wasn't a very good student, but he's applying to princeton anyway.

That's kind of disillusioning...I thought they just did it out of the goodness of their hearts and love of Princeton. There are always ulterior motives, I guess...

lol its human nature to go for personal gain, i guess

I still don't have an interview =D

I don't think I'll be interviewed...haha =p

oasis, dun fret in. esp if ur in taiwan

I haven't gotten contacted for an interview yet either. I'm starting to get a little anxious too...

...and today is my birthday!

why am i worrying about princeton interviews on my birthday? look what this process does to you. sheesh.

yeah... right here waiting...

But I really don't think not having an interview will adversely affect my chances, especially if they didn't contact me. Getting an interview and turning it down is one thing, but not getting contacted altogether (my email completely works and Pton had never had a problem contacting me) is a different story. Oh well -- I wouldn't mind not having an interview =p

haha, i just personally like having interviews, and generally do well. ;P

I just got a call late last night (Saturday) to have my interview on Monday. The caller is the regional director of So. Calif., and he was very apologetic and told me that the person who was supposed to have called me had gotten sick. He indicated that all ED interviews have to be submitted to Princeton by this coming Friday. It seems rather late to be completing application files by then where decisions are to be sent out 13-15 days later. Just thought you guys might like to know.

My interviewer informed me that all interview evaluations were due December 1st.

yeah....thats why I hold my claim that they begin the assessment of ED applicants by Dec 2nd....

That would be this Friday...

Edit: I meant what abiste said, not maddy

yeah I'm kind of resigned not to have an interview, as they still have not contacted me. I hope I'll get a chance to interview if I get deferred, though.

No interview for me it seems. Oh well, from what I've heard it doesn't affect your admission chances.

the admission officer told me to wait until this friday, but aren't the interview reports due then?
well, i do know a girl who was contacted on the afternoon of 12.07 last year, took an interview view phone that night, and got in early. but i'd prefer to have a face-to-face interview...

w00t so there are more of us that haven't been interviewed!

I'm not aloneee. That's comforting :]
