hahaha i’ll say it anyway idrc. its belvidere. idk if you’ve heard of it though. oh yes! i know naperville. i go 2 that area a lot! do you go 2 naperville central?

I’ve heard of Belvidere. Wasn’t there like a really bad tornado there in the 50s or 60s? I heard about it on Storm Stories. Lol. No, I don’t actually live in Naperville. I live in Bolingbrook. A lot of stuff’s been happening here, so you might have heard of it. I have a friend that goes to Neuqua Valley.

haha yes! our one claim to fame. lol jk. but the whole area around here is like tornado valley though i swear. its scary. but b4 i moved here i lived in streamwood which i looooved! woodfield mall was only 10 mins away
oh yea i know bolingbrook. whats been happening?

I’ve heard of Streamwood. I love Woodfield Mall! That place is awesome. Well, the whole Drew Peterson thing which started a couple years ago. A football player from this school in Chicago died during the middle of a game at our field in September, I think. We’ve had two stabbings at my school this year. Only one made it onto the news though. And, one of the soldiers killed during the Ft. Hood shooting was an '06 graduate of my school, and the procession for his funeral came by our school while everybody stood outside. It’s been really crazy since this place is usually super dull. Do you get Chicago news?

i know it is! its now about 45 minutes from where i live
. omgosh thats craaaazy. yea i get chicago news but the only thing i heard about was drew peterson. i didn’t know he was from bolingbrook though. so your school isn’t usually violent like that right? lots of schools in rockford are like. at one of them im pretty sure there was a stabbing like a week ago. so hows your school right now?

I think that’s about how far I am away from it. Maybe a little closer. I don’t go there often, so I’m not sure.
Yea, he was a cop here. His sons go to my school. My school has a bad rep in this area, but it really isn’t that bad usually. It’s been pretty good lately though. Nothing major has happened. What kind of stuff happens at the schools up there?

his sons go there? oh man that must’ve been a really uncomfortable time for them. well my school has a pretty good rep. but its only 3 years old so i guess there’s still time lol. but the schools in rockford (besides the private ones) can be pretty violent at times. there are stabbings, violent fights, etc. they just have bad violence but i’ve heard that the education is still pretty good. but its still scary to go there for away games! lol

It seems like they’re dealing with it pretty well. I bet it’s hard sometimes, though. Wow, that’s crazy. We don’t hear much about Rockford down here. Like I said, we have fights and stuff, but nothing too violent. People say my school’s education isn’t that great.
Our average ACT score is like 18 or 19. We even get to turn in homework late and retake tests. And I think we’ve been on academic probation because of our PSAE scores for a few years now. Oh yea, what year are you? Lol. I’m a junior.

yea the schools arent like super violent, buttt sometimes it can get pretty scary im sure. our education isnt too amazing either. i would classify it as mediocre. its not awful but it could b a lot better. we’re able to send people off to pretty good schools. they just started this incentive that if a junior meets or exceeds in all levels of the PSAE they dont take any finals senior year. and yea im a junior 2! hows your year been?

Yea, that’s probably about the same as our school. I’m not exactly sure how many people we send to good schools though. I think we have something like that here too. My year’s been pretty good so far! So stressful though. What about you?

schoolwise its been beyond stressful and hectic. im literally always studying and/or doing hw. it sux! but other than that its been great. i’ve tried a lot of new things (not drugs!! ha) and met cool people. it also makes me really excited to finally get away to college!! ps sorry it took me like an hour to respond back :)

Haha, no problem. It took me like 13 hours. Lol. I know, right?! It’s Anatomy that takes up most of my time. I have an A though, so that’s nice. I dropped out of AP US early, so at least I don’t have that to worry about. Lol.

=o! . . . . . …

hahahaha oh gosh. didn’t mean it like that!! lol

@BryDeeC

omg i haaaate APUSH. haaate it! its like no matter how hard you try for that A you still only get an 89%. theres no way im gonna get anything higher than a 3 on the ap test. im not in anatomy but i’ve heard its pretty crazy. lots of memorizations right?

Wow, I suppose there is a common hatred of APUSH here.

No, I wasn’t awake at that hour.

its starting to grow on me a bit but still kinda frustrating. your grade will round up atleast. i think i have like an 89.3
which means im gonna have to kick butt on my DBQ ( which is our hw over break btw
)

The multiple choice tests annoy me:/ It’s always between two options!

oh i know! thats what brings me down. cuz im really good on the essays but absolutely suck on the tests.

I talked with my teacher about it so I’m going to try out some of the advice that she gave me. Regardless though, there is a great deal of interpretive thinking involved.
