<p>I'm going to JHUMUNC too!!! Do you know what committee you'll be in? We haven't gotten assignments yet.</p>

<p>My school was gonna go to NHS but...... noone had any money and it's 3000 miles away from here so we're going to a high school conference down the street instead. :-)</p>
<p>OH YEAH my school (in NJ) is hosting a local conference for high schoolers AND middle schoolers this April. PM me if you're interested!!!</p>

<p>I'm going to JHUMUNC too! What committee is everyone in? I'm in EU (I think, but that might be for WAMUNC....)</p>
<p>We haven't even gotten countries yet. Actually I haven't been confirmed for JHUMUNC yet, but I think I have a good chance of getting in. My committees in order of preference are UNDP, CSW, then WHO. For those of you who've gone to JHUMUNC before, how are the specialized committees? Are they really competitive?</p>

<p>We were SO going to go but ended up not having enough cash, so we're going to a conference in Austin instead on the 14th. Le sigh. Have fun :)</p>
<p>I have two conferences in the month of January.. two weekends in a row! Crazy-ness.</p>
<p>I've gone once (skipped last year, but my school's been going forever). Everything's fairly competitive. I know the year I want, most of the crisis committees had crises in the middle of night (ie, 3AM) and people basically went in their pajamas. Someone from our school was assisinated on the triumverate.</p>
<p>I have two conferences three weeks apart - BosMUN and JHUMUNC.</p>
<p>We usually go to ILMUNC instead of BosMUN, but some of our MUN alumni go to BU. ;)</p>
<p>COWAC and JHUMUNC are three weeks apart. That's not bad though -- we had two the same week this year, and three over two weeks last year.</p>
