<p>IL has not heard yet...hey i just was on their site and realized i never did THIER financial aid stuff that was due...but they say that i have everything in...their supplement was FAFSA and did that, but i never did their specific finanical aid thing...prolly wont get in cuz of it...ooo well....i got others</p>

<p>I just emailed the admissions office to find out when they will be sending out decisions and if they are available online. They sent me a message back saying that they only release them through snail mail and not through email or au portal? Can anyone confirm or deny this information?</p>
<p>True and False. A formal announcement of your acceptance is not sent via email nor is it available on the portal for a while. Instead, people have gotten an invitation to some event for admitted students (not sure on specifics) by email before they got their formal acceptance packet in the mail. You have to put two-and-two together.</p>

<p>Again, "snail mail" acceptances are supposed to be put into the mail today, which is Friday March 10.</p>

<p>Just checked my daughter's email...she has a message from American entitled "Good News from American University".
Of course i am not allowed to open it, so I have to wait until she gets home later.
iamnot...what are your stats? Daughter is hoping for honors invite as well. Did you go to the honors overnight?
