I visited few schools recently, had my tours and interviews as usual. Every school gave me cards of the interviewers, and so did student guides. They encouraged me to send any emails if I had any questions. When I got back home, I sent them emails saying how thankful I am. I understand that every year they get thousands of those thank you letters, however, an interviewer from Lville told me specifically to send her any other information for my application. I did, and she never responded back… Does this happen to you guys too?
I am not receiving reply emails (inquiry emails) from this one school, though I receive the same emails they send to other people (subscription emails) - including the ones from the coaches.
In regard with the interviewer, I always get responses from her; there are delays in some cases. In my opinion, it is good to know your interviewer’s general schedules - working hours, free day(s). I email - message, perhaps - my interviewer by night and almost always in the weekends. I keep in touch with her at least once a week. I think there is no harm on asking for [your interviewer’s] schedule.
I received some response weeks later or not at all. I just resent the original inquiry and got a response. I imagine they are pretty busy now.
Don’t forget that beyond the interviewer, you may not hear from someone at a TSAO school. They may instead have a student or teammate contact you.
