Hi, my daughter is supposed to take 2015mcat/new mcat, would you please suggest the prep classes (exclusively for new MCAT) that she can take over this summer(2014 summer)? She is sophomore and did required classes of Gen. Bio, Gen. Chem, Orgo and sociology. She has score of 5 on AP physics and will be taking physics and biochem next year (junior year)

All the materials that I have seen from Kaplan and Princeton Review make it seem as if they are not doing summer intensives for the 2015 MCAT as of today. I know that new materials from AMCAS are due out soon along with the first official practice test. Khan Academy is putting up videos daily.
Princeton Review’s summer classes in our area are all covering the old MCAT material. There fist MCAT 2015 class starts in January and runs until April.

Thanksvery much! I thought so. If you inquire to Princeton they say that their classes in summer offers 2014 materials and added questions for 2015 students but that is not helpful. I am not sure if Toronto, Canada area offers any 2015 mcat summer prep?

If she’s planning on taking the 2015 MCAT why is she doing an intensive program in summer 2014? I’m sure summer 2015 there will be 2015MCAT intensive programs which is when you would do one for 2015 MCAT,

She wants to take classes to start practicing, get materials and learn about the pattern of the questions. She is not looking for intensive course but just the summer mcat classes for summer 2014.

my mistake. MizzBee mentioned the summer intensive course and I got it in my head that that’s what we were talking about.

I still don’t think you need to do a class in summer 2014 if you’re planning on taking the 2015 MCAT. You can (and should) do the class much closer.

it looks like she has no alternative as 2015 classes are not offered yet. She said she will go through Khan academy videos and look for and buy mcat2015 books to study. Thanks
