This is really annoying I sent in my application on november 15 and still didn't hear back is it because of the major I chose? btw its pre-med... Or is it because they still didn't get to it, I would really like to know what days and time that they update ur status.

Still in process here too. Daughter submitted it back on October 21–early action. Looks like you at least applied regular decision. She is not premed so I doubt it has anything to do with your major. Meanwhile, her friend applied regular decision in December and already heard back (rejected). We have called several times and all they will say is they have everything they need and we need to wait through the Jan 31 deadline. I agree–it is very annoying and a real turnoff. She has received acceptances to some great schools and Rutgers is quickly falling off her radar.

what were her stats? cause I’m kinda thinking I’m in a bad spot if i didn’t hear back yet

520 M 620 CR 610 W; GPA 3.3; In state; 1 AP, 5 honors. Applied to CAS. I figure she must be borderline which is why it is taking so long. Clear-cut acceptances or rejections seem to hear back sooner.

yea it seems like what you say is true but what were the stats of her friend that got rejected… my Sats are around your daughters score so I guess we r stuck in the same boat

Since it’s not my kid I don’t know for sure, but my daughter said the friend’s SATs and GPA are slightly lower than hers–all SATs in the 500s, GPA 3.1 or 3.2, mostly CP courses.

lol school of pharmacy is still in process, but i got accepted to school of arts and sciences after about a week and a half wait. i got my big envelope yesterday which had my acceptance letter but it read “Dear Paul” instead of “Dear James”, which is my name…

so yeah, epic fail on their part.

what were ur stats? and when did u apply?
