I really do hope that my status changes to “tested” tonight or the ACT headquarters will be burned to the ground come tomorrow. Let’s hope that we all are “tested” after 1:00am tonight.

I called the ACT center. They said that the tests are scored randomly and that most are scored within the first five weeks…

Anyway, she said that this week they’re done for Wens, Thurs, and Friday. After that, it’s only on Wens. and Friday. I’m praying for this week…oh well.

nike, what do you mean “they’re done for” those days?

so they might release scores Thurs night?

Yeah, they could release them on Thurs. And by “they’re done,” I mean that the machines and/or people who score the tests do so and put them up on those dates.

I hope my scores are released Thurs. praying for the best… =)

I just spoke to a lady from ACT over the phone. She said they only do Wednesday and Friday, no Thursday this week. I don’t know whose ACT service person is right, but mine seemed pretty sure. Furthermore, the reason it says “tested” is because your ScanTron has run through the machine; this is what my ACT lady said. Hopefully we’ll all be “tested” tonight at 1am and get our scores back Friday morning.

Yeah, my person said that too, but didn’t say we’d all be tested by 1am tonight. She seemed to think it would take longer, but hopefully. She seemed fairly competent, so I’m not certain either. I might try calling again if nothing changes by Friday.

I asked someone who tested at the same test center as I did and they got their scores…

yet I’m still registered

It could be an issue with the center itself, with your test, or any number of things. I wouldn’t worry about it. A ton of people didn’t get scores yet.

I’m listed as registered.

everyone who tested at my school is registered. i wonder what that means. did our school mail it in late or something? did ACT just not get to our batch yet?

luckily i have my score because i tested somewhere else :)

^^ same with my school…no one has gotten there scores yet…

My D’s school is small and a little wacky doodle, the guidance counselor called them all in individually on the first morning after available and gave them their results. Wonder if school action has anything to do with the online visibility?

Mamadrama,
How does the guidance counselor get the results? Even when a kid puts down the school to receive scores I thought it took a few weeks to get to the school.

I’m not sure how she got them, but she knew before the kids did and called them in 1 by 1. My daughter isn’t actually testing until June due to having a double header on the most recent test day, but that’s how all of her friends found out because they were coming in one by one into Honors English with some shocked looks on their faces as they had just found out.

FWIW, they only have 105 in their graduating class and were a testing site (in case those factors would become an issue in processing).
