errr I still got a lot of work to do...like write the whole supplemental essay for Yale and a bunch of other short answers for other schools.

same! I got deferred from Brown and I just started (as in a few hours ago) my essay/short answers for other schools :(

same here, i got deferred from yale, so I guess it's time to start working on my other apps...

deferred from columbia! and now doing my other appls.. you're never alone

Still editting my Yale supplement essay and I have some 4 more schools to finish. Eeek

okay goood
that makes me feel better.
LETS DO THIS !

I just started yesterday after getting deferred from Yale REA. Luckily, Dart, Harv and Williams don't need any new essays...but Brown PLME, o lord. (ok, it's 2 essays for PLME, so it's not that bad)

I got deferred from Yale SCEA and I'm working on sending them supplements. I was finished with all my applications in October though so I'm really just back to the waiting game.

I'm just starting mine now :S So are there any other well-ranked schools that don't require extra essays (besides Williams, Harvard and Dartmouth)?

Vanderbilt, Wash U, Emory (required short answer)

I'm still working on my Yale supp

thanks!

I really like that Yale doesn't make students write abut a specific quote!

^Yup, we can use the quote one for Yale too.. haha

^ Haha you read my mind :D

Just make sure you include a safety!

pirate, because I'm applying to Amherst too.. like you

haha ok. Where else are you applying?

ME:
Brown (deferred)
Yale
Williams
Amherst
Bowdoin
McGill

I'm still working on my essays.

Pirate, I need aid, so I'm applying to a range of LACs.. and Yale, Dartmouth, Columbia (deferred)

yeah, i'm also considering Dartmouth. Academically it seems perfect, but from what i hear it might be a bit too conservative and socially frat-based for me. Do you think that's just a sterotype? I don't live in the US so i really have no idea.
