What an effort! This result is bad for my heart but good for my bracket ;)

kobudnik you obviously haven’t watched much Michigan basketball this year…The guy should have passed it to the other guy? Tough to criticize if you don’t even know Morris and Hardaway.

You’re right I wasn’t paying attention to their names. Get over it. I didn’t care enough to rewind my tv and see their names because I didn’t think anyone on this board would be a big enough tool to judge me on that. Also, we don’t get many Mich games over here in CT.

It’s not even criticism. It’s more of a what if. The “guy” was open. There’s no disputing that.

Whoa settle down. Just saying if you would have watched Mich basketball this year you would have known that it was Morris and Hardaway. And I agree, Hardaway was open but Morris has been sinking that floater all year. It was not a bad choice to take the shot, it’s just too bad he didn’t sink it. Anyways, great season, should be amazing next year. Definitely gonna go for the season tickets.

You were clearly criticizing me so don’t act like I reacted to something that wasn’t there.

I’m also going for season tickets next year so hopefully I can learn the names so I don’t get embarrassed by you again.

Also, layup>floater every time.

Save your energy for Football kids, Michigan is still a Football school afterall. I am glad we did well in Basketball, and I hope we continue to improve, but Football is where Michigan’s heart lies.

kobudnik- don’t get games out in CT? now thats a lie… we’ve gotten quite a handful of games so far (both games against state, 2/3 against osu, kansas, and others). some fan you are… don’t even know 2 of our best players names. its not like that was McLimans or Christian- it was Darius Morris!

Why care if he didn’t name them?

There’s a difference of not knowing who they are in general and not paying attention to who they are as plays progress. I know all the UCONN players in general but am I going to pay attention to the people who don’t have the ball? No. I just saw that someone was open. Jesus Christ. I’ve watched games before. I created this damn thread. I know who they are in general.

When my school’s basketball team hit the game winning shot this year in a big game, someone asked me who made it the next day. I forgot. Does that mean who I don’t know who he is in general? No.

Now, maybe I’m stupid for not remembering who had the ball for an important play, but that’s just not the way I remember things.

Do you really need to flame me because I didn’t remember which specific player had possession on one play of the game, and for not looking at who the player open was? Really? Like I said, I didn’t rewind my tv and plays go pretty quickly so sorry I couldn’t specify exactly who was open.

because it shows he’s just a bandwagon fan who is only paying attention bc we’re in the tourney…

I think most of the Michigan basketball fans are bandwagon fans…lol.

Right, it’s not like I’m most likely going to this school next year???

Or that my sister currently attends???

Or that I’ve worn a Michigan jacket since I was a little kid and went to baseball camp there in elementary school???

I’ve been a Michigan fan my whole life. I know who they are. As I said, I didn’t notice one person who was open by name. Jesus Christ. I doubt if someone had asked you if you could have named who was open next to the bucket after the game had just ended that you would’ve remembered.

Good game Wolverines!!! I was sweating bullets during that last play. If you guys were in the same region as Pitt and Florida, I think Michigan would have advanced a lot farther in the tournament. As they say, survive and advance…

oh even better, you’re a fake fan! i didn’t say you had to know who was open, i didn’t even notice hardaway was open. but not knowing the guy with the ball, the guy everybody’s eyes were on? that’s pathetic for a so-called michigan fan. i mean for christ’s sake, they showed closeups of Mortis all day long and said his name at least 50 times!

and kenlewis- unfortunately, thats probably true. its a shame too bc Michigan has been pretty decent recently (not Fab 5 good, or even just good, but decent). Beilein is restoring this program and I just wish people had starting paying attention when he got here (and even during the Amaker years) and not just now when his recruiting and coaching is starting to show dividends.

As I said, I know who he is. Just because I said “the guy” doesn’t mean I don’t know who he is in general.
