or can you learn them both at the same time?

BC covers the same material as AB does, but at a faster pace and more in depth with some added material. When you take the AP exam for BC, it includes a Calculus AB subscore for AB material. I’m in BC and I’m doing okay, maintaining a steady B+. If you have a good precalculus and Algebra II background, you should be fine. I also have a great teacher, though.

You cannot take both AP tests in the same year. At my school, the only Calculus classes offered are either AB or BC, and only one section of BC is offered.

AB isn’t a prerequisite for BC

this might seem really shallow, but best way i can correlate the class…

120 iq diligent = take ab calc b4 bc
130 iq diligent = take bc after algebra/precalc
145+(since you have a brain you can be lazy for this one)-take BC first thing in high school., dont take algebra 1 2 precalc or all that other ********
