It really ****es me off when people take AP classes/tests just because they’re “easy”. Environmental science is a very important subject. Take the class if you’re interested in it.

If I want to self study AP environmental science and take the test, aiming 4-5, is there a good book for learning the material? Is there a book to study for the test?

I self-studied. PM me (or it’d better if you e-mail) for more information.

wow everyone here says how easy it is, so i guess it depends on ur teacher because my teachers PILES work on my class & doesnt really teach at all. i find it pretty intresting though. & just like socalscott, my class average is pretty low too & everyone their studies their asses off

At my school the teacher is notoriously hard (nearly everyone gets a 5, though), so APES isn’t the easiest AP to take. I guess it depends on the teacher. I remember my friend complaining about her 70 average last year. She got a 5.

yeah… i got an A and i don’t bother doing nightly reading, just remember what the teacher says.

then again, my apes teacher is arguably the best teacher in the world. HE’S AWESOME!! it’s the most funnest AP class out there, you’ll enjoy it.

I had it last year and it wasn’t bad, though it did take work. My teacher was very good, since the actual content wasn’t that hard though, there were a lot of projects and research stuff. We also spent a lot of time doing riparian restoration and field work since my school is right near a county park. I think my teacher got the vibe that people thought it was too easy, though, because this year, I hear nothing but complaints over how hard it is.

I’m taking it this year. The material itself isn’t difficult but my teacher swamps us with busy work and purposely makes the tests tricky so that we actually study. So yeah, it really depends on your teacher. But a lot of the material in the class is actually very fascinating and relevant. I almost think it should be a required course.

I dont know if I had a bad teacher but we had to cram soooo many chapters in before the test. every week we would have 2-3 chapter tests and we woudnt even go over any information in school. It was a self-taught class, unintentionally. It is making my sophmore year hell
