is ap environmental science easy??

i was just wondering if ap environmental science is easy as everyone says it is? is that true? i am a sphmore and i was wondering of taking ap environmental science next year. i have the highest grade in chemistry and biology out all of my teacher's classes. around 98- 100%. will it be easy for me? help.

Sure - Just do it your ready. My son is a sphmore and likes apes.

how long would it take to study like hours per day how many weeks??

Yes, my son took it senior year and did virtually nothing and got an A - BUT, many colleges do not accept the credit, so you might check into that at the schools you are interested in. The uni that my son is at doesn't accept the credit, so the year was a waste (except for the fact that it made senior year science easy).

is the REA Environmental Science book enough if i only study out of it get at least a 4?? or will i still need a text book?

apes is ridiculously easy...definitely the easiest ap i've taken thus far. i took it freshman year, maintained an A all year, and got a 5 on the exam (it was my first ap test ever, and the only one i took that year)...trust me, if you have an A+ in chem AND bio, it will be a total piece of cake for you.

you don't even really need chem to understand apes...my regular chem class that i took the same year was harder than apes. i never used a review book either, mainly because i was a dumb little freshman and didn't know of their existence at the time, lol.

basically for the class, you just need to keep up with your reading and you'll be fine. the reading is pretty straightforward to, not a lot of difficult concepts or solving impossible problems like the actual-ahem- i mean other sciences (bio, chem, physics).

i think our class went at like a chapter a week from the miller textbook. anyways, i don't know if it's worth it for you to take such an easy ap class junior year, but if you're taking it BECAUSE it's an easy ap class, then you should totally go for it. but it seems someone of your caliber (taking 2 sciences and maintaining high grades in both as a sophomore) would do far better to take a more challenging ap science course (ap physics b was hell, took it last year, but ap chem is decent, and ap bio is incredibly easy though maybe not as much as apes)

I believe that apes is easy...i currently have an A... Then again i am not learning anything from the class. We are currently on chapter 9 while someone I know from another school in my county is on chapter 22. My teacher is more for showing us movies that we can use for information to write essays on then teaching. Like with my world history class i am probably going to go into self study soon and just use reference books for the rest of the year and hope for the best on the test.

At my school, AP Environmental Science is taught by possibly the best teacher in the whole school, and he makes it more like an extracurricular activity than a class. Of course there are the readings and everything, but there is he also requires you to do a major community project relating to the environment, and there are tons of overnight trips to different places that involve environmental studies. So even if the content is not that hard, it also depends on whether or not the teacher decides to put more into it than just the standard AP curriculum.

I'm a freshman this year, and am taking it next year as a sophomore concurrently with honors chem. The teacher is my biology teacher this year, and I've heard great things about the AP Env class.

What is the title of the miller textbook? is it living in the environment?

yeah it’s called living in the environment…its the 14th edition
