I'm sorry, this question is probably asked a lot, but is AP Euro or US harder? I'm wondering because I took Euro last year and it was like a nightmare, and if US is equally as bad I'm not sure if I can go through that again.

In my experience, APUSH was easier than AP Euro. I took APUSH first actually. Euro was harder at school because of a difficult teacher, but I also thought the AP exam was a little harder too. So if you survived Euro, take APUSH…I really liked that class.

In my opinion, US was more boring while Euro was harder to conceptualize.

apush is soooo much easier. i think taking euro as an elective my sophomore year prepared me for a smooth sail through apush. You’ll be fine.

this is reassuring, b/c i took euro this year and it was really easy!

I thought APUSH was definitely easier, both in the class and the test.

Euro can be SO broad. Although I thought the DBQs were easier than the USH ones.

Looking at the material and a practice AP test, US is far harder.

^what practice test are you looking at? this year’s apush exam was very straightforward, imo

On US History, I regularly missed about 10-12 MC on practice tests and probably scored about 7 on DBQ and 6 on the FRQ judging from the rubric. I am taking Euro next year, and my teacher is reputed to be easy [while the US teacher is notoriously hard; less than 5% of the class gets an A- or above and he is the only teacher known to give D+'s or lower more than rarely], but I have started learning the material and am about halfway through the prep book. I looked at the diagnostic test before posting that post and missed none of the questions that were on material I have covered. The FRQ is probably about the same. I didn’t really have a knack for US History, but all the same I think Euro looks a lot easier. I will get back to you when I have finished the prep book.

I found APUSH to be more interesting than AP Euro and APUSH was an easier class than AP Euro without a doubt.

As far as the AP tests go, I do think that the APUSH Exam is slightly more difficult than AP Euro.

I thought APUSH was much easier than Euro. APUSH covered more familiar topics (for me, anyway), a shorter period of time, and only one country. Also, the experience of suffering through Euro made me better prepared for APUSH, which made the APUSH exam seem easy.

Euro is WAYYY harder. There are so many similar names for rulers of diff. countries and crap. Trust, if you want to take the easier route, GO APUSH all the way.

EURO >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> APUSH

euro is memorizing hell

apush makes sense in the timeline
