I signed up for AP Language and I was wondering if this course is hard. I gets A's(98%) in my gifted Language art classes but that required a ton of studying compared to my math, AP chem, or any other classes.
I struggle with English although I am second in my classes because many people are too lazy.
I was wondering if seniors have taken this course.
Also I am very horrible at the SAT Reading parts (slow reader) and my essay ability is quite poor. Do you thing I should take it?
There is also another option for Ap ushistory. Which one should i do..?

ALso, i got until 30th to change my schedule before it is final.
Please help me

If you say that your SAT CR and your essay writing ability is poor, I would hesitate from recommending AP English Language to you. On the other hand, if you did take it, it has the potential to greatly improve your English skills.

APUSH isn’t that hard.

I took both at the same time, haha. It was pretty stressful at times, but completely doable. You’re graded really viciously in AP Lang&Comp, so if you’re not the best writer… either you’ll improve immensely, or brutally die. It’s so worth it though! I really found and established my writing voice during that class! It was probably the most useful class I’ve ever taken.

AP English Lang is heavily dependent on how well you write and interpret passages based on rhetorical arguments and nonfictional pieces. If you are good at this, then it shouldn’t be that hard. APUSH is a lot easier, but neither of them are THAT bad.
