This year, I've had fill my schools requirements for social studies and I am just taking the semester long AP Macroeconomics. I am interested in economics for college and to me it doesn't really make sense to put in the hours to study for and eventually take the AP exam if I haven't learned the microeconomics concepts. So should I just pass on the AP exam if I plan on learning about economics more in depth in college?

bumppp

here here

bump bump

Really no need to bump 3 times in 30 minutes :)

I’m currently taking macro; I could not fit micro into my schedule. I’m taking the test. I don’t really understand the hesitation on your part. You’re a junior, so you have no idea what college will accept you and therefore cannot look to their AP credit chart for guidance. That said, econ is not like HuGeo, where only North State University will give AP Credit. Most colleges will give credit for macro only or micro only. Few colleges require both for AP credit. Take the test.
