Hey guys! So I made a 2 on my ap biology exam, which I'm really really devastated about. I feel like I worked really hard on it and I feel betrayed
By the college board and my teacher. I am going to get a rescore and hopefully my score
Will change to a 3 that way. Does anyone have any success rescore stories on that? Also, since I made a 2 on the ap biology exam, I don't think I will get ap schloar. Is ap schloar really important? Can you get into a good school without being an ap schloar? Thank you all for the help and advice.good luck to everyone with their ap scores!!

**the ap biology exam by the way was this years exam which is the new exam!

From College Board’s website:
“AP Scholar
Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams”
So yes, it’s still possible for you to be an AP scholar. For the higher awards, you need a specific average, so those might be more difficult.

Anyways, I really don’t think those titles matter for anything.

Also, don’t waste your money getting a rescore. You got a 2, just accept it. I know it’s hard. I walked out of the APUSH exam 2 years ago absolutely sure that I had gotten a 5. I got a 4 (one of two fours I received, got fives on 7/9 exams). I was so upset. But now, I realize that it really doesn’t matter. I can’t believe I ever thought that a disappointing AP score was such a tragedy.

I’m sorry to hear about your score but I agree with Torchwood. Just accept the score you got and make sure to try harder next time. You can always retake the exam if you wish to. If you really want to pay for a rescore go ahead but most scores are accurate and the chances the score will increase is very low.

AP Scholar is a nice title to have but it only makes a difference depending on the school you want to go to. Even if you apply to a selective school the chances of AP Scholar making you stand out are slim since it’s likely other students will have the same title. National AP Scholar might make you stand out more.

^ Yes. Having the AP scholar title won’t make you stand out as almost all competitive candidates have it, but not having it would make you different from the others in a bad way.

^
No not really. Your GPA is a lot more important than any AP exams.
