AP USH is hard, due to the amount of reading, but manageable. Relative to Microeconomics, its easy.

Anyone have the The American Pageant as a textbook? Their quizzes are so hard!

haha, we used A Pageant just to go over the colonial period before we switched to Liberty Equality Power. we never quizzed from it though. our teacher hated it.

the author seemed to have a problem with the scots-irish.

We use American Pageant the entire year for APUSH. It's not terrible; the quizzes are manageable if you carefully read the chapter...

a lot of work, but it's ok

Take it only if you like history. If you are truly interested.
Otherwise, you are going to be struggling and forcing yourself to keep up with that class with the other history buff. If you don't like it, don't like studying for history tests, reading 20+ pages, then I would skip it if you are already taking two APs next year.

Meh. I never read a thing, slept in class, turned in an essay once a month, got an A for the class and a 5 on the test.

But I guess it will depend on you though.

It was easy for me. I took in in Freshman year and I got a 5 on the exam. Its really not hard- just study like you have no life- which is easy for me. Wonder why?

If your willing to study like hell, take it. If not, you should stay away from APs in general

AP us history was the easiest freakin class i've ever taken.

but then again, we did NOTHING. it was also one of the worst classes i've ever taken and if i took the AP exam, i'd probably get a .5 (if it is possible)
