Is April 30 the deadline to tell NMF which school?

<p>I just read a parent in another thread anguishing over a 5 pm deadline to tell NMF which school his son is attending? I've left the NMF details to my son (since I don't have access to his accounts/passwords). Is/was today at 5 pm the deadline to notify NMF about which school our kids plan to attend and use the scholarship for? My son received the $2,500 scholarship that can be used anywhere. </p>

<p>Here’s a link to an information sheet with dates/timeline for this year’s Finalists. It looks like May 1 is when NMSC starts mailing out college-sponsored scholarship offers and your S may have until May 31 to send in his choice. My recommendation would be to submit his school choice ASAP though.</p>
