Is Arizona State University (Online) a Scam?

I am interested in a language program (Spanish) at this university. When I searched for colleges this university and another one showed up (Mercy College) as top schools in this field for online learning. I submitted my info to the school and after that I started to receive frequent emails and calls. The one thing that stands out to me is that so far this school only requests an application fee and transcripts and no essay or recommendations.I found this to be a little bit outside of the norm.

I don’t know what to think. This program is very convenient for me because I need to work while going to school. I just recently graduated from a top school in the northeast with a BS and unfortunately they don’t offer this program online.

Does anyone know of this school or program?

I think Northeastern University offers an online Spanish program but I think it will be a bit costly since it is a private institution.

Pleas any advice will be appreciated.

No. ASU has automatic admission cutoffs. Meet them and you’re in. No essay required.

University of Phoenix is a scam

^^ Yes

If you work at Starbucks, you can get your ASU online classes paid for, I think.

University of Phoenix is not a scam, it’s not the best college, but not a scam. ASU online is a part of Arizona State and your degree will not say online. There is a list of about 100 universities that you can earn completely online degrees from. Oregon state And University of Florida also have online degree programs.
