Is Barron's really the best SAT prep book?

So I've pretty much gone through and finished the Official SAT Study Guide and have just placed a hold on the Barron's book at the library. My classmates have told me that the Barron's practice tests are much harder than the actual SAT tests. Is this true? If not, is there a guide out there that has practice problems more difficult than the actual ones on the SAT?

Math=Dr. Chung’s (beware of the poor answer explanations though!)

Dr. Chung’s for math, noted
Any suggestions for critical reading?
