Is Baruch really that hard to get into?

<p>Baruch acceptance rate is 20% which is even less than NYU! It's average sat scores are 1850! It's avarage sat score is 1220! But it is still a regional ranked school. Is it really that hard to get into? </p>

<p>The low acceptance rate is because it gets TONS of applications ( between freshmen and transfer). A school can only accept so much, and if you get 5 times the number of applicants than you can accept/admit, then the acceptance rate will be around 20% or so.</p>
