I have the opportunity to take my HS Pharmacy Technician class and I don't know if it is beneficial for me or not. I want to be a Forensic Psychiatrist and I wanna know everyone's opinion on whether or not It will give me an "up" in Medical School once I pass the MCAT?

no up for getting in. might possibly give you an up in pharm class since you’ve heard of the drugs but honestly other than pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (which my knowledge of is beyond that of my local PharmD so i imagine pharm techs know even less) it’s just brute memorization anyway.

If you’re personally interested in pharmacology there’s nothing wrong with doing it.

Agree with IWBB. Absolutely no advantage for med school admission, but it would help for pharm school admissions since an applicant is expected to have hands-on exposure/experience in the career field and being Pharm Tech is good way to do that.
